Our Wi-Fi NestBox Camera is a good choice if you are looking to post high quality Nest Box video to social media or a webpage.

This camera connects to an android or iOS device using wi-fi and is controlled using an app, eliminating the need for an LCD Monitor and saving you money. This camera provides a lower cost alternative to our range of Professional Wireless Inspection Cameras.

Optional ROTATING LENS - makes the camera adjustable through 360° allows you to look - LEFT - RIGHT - UP - DOWN, handy for for BAT BOXES & viewing sideways in tree hollows. Additional cost is a mere $40 and well worth the extra. Use the "Lens Option=" to order your camera with a Rotating Lens. Camera records automatically while streaming high quality video from the tree tops for live viewing on your device. Operates in remote areas with no mobile or internet. You can even use your old phone or tablet as NO SIM card is required. In fact we recommend this option.

Wi-Fi Camera has 200mm of forward projection, its robust PVC housing is 35mm diameter and total weight is a mere 200grams. The white light LED illuminator is wildlife eye safe, power is provided from a rechargeable smart battery pack we even include a handy nylon battery pouch which cable ties to your extension pole. Camera screws onto any extension pole with a 3/4" x 5TPI thread, this is your standard painters type/ Bunnings extension pole.

This Monarch 1.8~3.6m pole from Bunnings for around $42 is suitable for nest boxes up to heights of 4~5 metres.

Due to the wide range of devices and variations in operating systems and their annoying updates, we cannot guarantee that this camera will work with every available device. It is not possible to support every combination of device/ operating system and unfortunately that's just how it is.

Shortcomings of Wi-Fi:

WiFi provides relative short range communication unlike our Pro Wireless Cameras which have a transmission range of up to 100 metres. Annoyingly Wi-Fi can dropout resulting in a lost connection between the camera and your device. You will need to re-establish the Wi-Fi connection to your device when this occurs. Try and avoid moving your device more than 3 metres away from the camera or having other wi-fi devices running nearby.

If within 30 days you are disatisfied with your Wi-Fi Nestbox Camera we are happy to give you a 100% credit against the purchase of one of our Pro Wireless Nest Box Cameras. Obviously any returned Wi-Fi Camera must be operational and in "as new" condition. If you are a Landcare Group or involved professionally in environmental work we recommend that you purchase one of our Pro Wireless Nest Box Cameras.
